REGISTRATION QUESTIONS
Do I have to be a member of HFSA to attend the annual meeting?
No, non-members may attend the annual meeting for a higher registration rate.

Can I purchase an exhibit hall only pass?
You must be a full conference or daily conference registrant to access the exhibit hall.

What’s the difference between a full registration and daily registration?
Full registration allows complete attendance and CME eligibility for the duration of the meeting. Daily registration allows attendance and CME eligibility for one day of the meeting. Depending on the day of Daily registration you may not have access to the exhibit hall as it does not remain open during the full meeting.

If I miss the pre-registration deadline can I register onsite at the meeting?
Yes, there is onsite registration available at the Annual meeting.

How is membership included in the non-member registration fee?
To take advantage of the membership rate for the Annual Scientific Meeting individuals must have paid. Dues by the advance registration cut-off date. Non-member registration for the meeting includes one year of membership for all individuals who register before the advance registration cut-off date.

What is the latest I can mail or fax my registration form to be pre-registered for the meeting?
Faxed registrations will be processed until 4 days prior to the meeting start date. Mailed registrations must be received in the HFSA office by the Tuesday prior to the start date of the meeting to be processed. Those arriving after this will not be processed as the HFSA office will be closed as staff travels to the annual meeting.

What is the latest I can mail or fax my registration form to receive the advance discount?
Faxed registration forms must be received by 11:59pm Eastern time on the cut-off date to be eligible. Mailed registrations must be postmarked the date of the cut-off to be eligible.

Can I cancel my meeting registration?
If notice of cancellation is received in writing at least 6 weeks before the annual meeting, the registration fee will be refunded less a $75 administrative charge. Contact info@hfsa.org. Cancellations for any reason after this date, including registrants who do not show at the meeting, will not be refunded. HFSA is not responsible for problems beyond our control such as weather conditions or travel delays. No refunds will be given in these situations.

PAYMENT QUESTIONS
Can I be billed for the HFSA Annual Meeting Registration Fee?
No, all faxed and mailed registration fees must be accompanied by full payment to be processed. Those that are not will not be processed. If payment arrives after the advance registration cut-off date the higher rate will be charged.

Can meeting registrations be shared or transferred if I can’t make it to the meeting?
Yes. If you cannot attend the annual meeting you can contact the HFSA office to have your registration transferred to a colleague (additional charges may apply ex. Member being replaced by a non-member). Requests for name changes must be submitted by the original registrant, in writing, via Email to info@hfsa.org.

Can I pay for my meeting registration via electronic wire transfer?
HFSA prefers meeting registrations to be paid via credit card, check or money order. Arrangements may be made for payment by wire transfer by contacting the HFSA office for details. 301.312.8635. An additional fee of $25 will be required to cover the cost of the transfer.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS AND/OR MOC CREDIT INFORMATION
How many continuing education credits and/or MOC’s can I receive by attending the HFSA annual meeting?
CME and MOCs vary from meeting to meeting depending on the number of education sessions being offered as well as your professional discipline. Please review the online meeting program for specific details on CME and MOCs.

How do I claim CE/CME credit?
An evaluation must be completed in order to receive a credit certificate for the scientific meeting or satellite symposia. The evaluation process is online and is formatted for smartphones, tablets and computers. The evaluation form for the scientific program will be accessible during and after the meeting. Evaluations for satellites will be accessible after completion of each satellite. An email will be sent to attendees providing the website address to access evaluation forms and credit certificates.

Evaluations
An evaluation must be completed in order to receive a credit certificate for the scientific meeting or for satellite symposia. All evaluations will be electronic and will be formatted for smart phones, tablets and computers. They can also be accessed using the CE kiosks in the registration area.

Physicians & Nurses
Physician and nursing continuing education credit certificates for the scientific meeting and for satellite symposia can be requested on-site using smart phones, tablets, computers, or the CE kiosks in the registration area.

Certificates will be issued only to individuals registered for the Annual Scientific Meeting. If necessary, attendance will be verified based on information collected by hand-held scanners at meeting room entrances.

For Pharmacists
All CPE evaluations are accessed online at ipharmCE.UCDenver.edu.

Pharmacists will need to create a profile on iPharmCE to access evaluations and claim CPE credit.  If you don’t have an account already, create one by entering a valid email address under New Account Sign‐up, and following the on‐screen instructions.  Once logged in, click Complete Live Activity Post‐tests and Evaluations on the left side of the screen, scroll down to the group titled HFSA 2017, and select the presentation title.

CPE Credit for each presentation will be uploaded to CPE Monitor upon completion of the evaluation. General instructions on how to access the online evaluation platform will also be emailed to pharmacists who sign‐in after the program.

OTHER
Are the sessions recorded and, if so, how do attendees get access?
The sessions approved by faculty to be recorded are captured as video and voice-over during the meeting. Attendees will be notified when On-Demand content is available. Attendees will have unlimited On-Demand access for 30 days after the meeting, and will be able to get their On-Demand access by visiting www.hfsaondemand.com. After the 30 day free access period, access for both attendees and non-attendees can be purchased by visiting this site.

Do attendees receive printed handouts for sessions?
To reduce the amount of paper and be more environmentally conscious, HFSA does not provided printed handouts. Session information will be available on the HFSA website and in the meeting mobile app for attendees to review prior to and during the meeting. Lecture slides are not available in the app. Attendees also receive 30 days of complimentary access to OnDemand recorded content post-conference.

Can exhibitors attend educational sessions?
Yes, exhibitor badges allow admission to scientific sessions based upon available space and at the discretion of HFSA. Exhibitors attending sessions, using an exhibit hall badge, are not eligible to earn CME or MOCs.

Are children allowed at the meeting?
No children under the age of 16 are allowed to attend the meeting or enter the exhibit hall.
